A group of teenagers is also receiving Holy Confirmation this year, but why? For teenagers and for the parents the motivation is not so easy to put into words. The administration of Confirmation is confirmation by God with the gift of His Holy Spirit for you! He equips man to stand strong through the power of his Holy Spirit in the midst of our society.

Preparation
In the sacrament of Confirmation, young people receive the special help of the Holy Spirit. He helps them to make faith a real place in everyday life and empowers them to stand up for their faith when needed. If a child accepts to receive Holy Confirmation, it chooses to become a full member of the Catholic Church community.

For 2021, Holy Confirmation will take place on Sunday 18 April 2021 at 11.00 hrs. in the St Joris Church and will be administered by our bischop Mgr. De Korte.
